I had a great year - mother nature sure made it easy in 2008. Our program looks for feed efficient, low maintenance type of cows that can produce consistent above average weaning weights every time. Through A.I. and with the purchase of two new herd sires our program is developing to provide you, our customers, with a product that will assist you in developing your herd well into the future. Our A.I. sires, LCC Glance, LCC Red Spread and Serenade, have produced some very good calves this year and we have included a couple of Black Angus bulls also. Our bulls were not creep fed; once weaned they were introduced to a balanced ration recommended by our nutritionist and offered hay free choice.
